ANADARKO WARRIORS
Coach: KENT JACKSON
8-3
Anadarko is incredibly excited about the energy its young roster brings as it transitions into a new 2A classification after an 8-3 season. Veteran head coach Kent Jackson says the move provides a fresh landscape for the Warriors to compete at a high level and showcase their growth, with sights set firmly on a state playoff berth and the ultimate goal of making a deep championship run. With returning playmakers on both sides of the ball, Anadarko believes it can prove it belongs near the top of its new class.
The Warriors return four offensive starters and will lean heavily on senior running back Farris Sutteer (5-10, 190), a power back with deceptive breakaway speed who averaged 6.7 yards per carry while rushing for 870 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. Sophomore tight end Trell Ivy (6-4, 230) flashed in limited duty with two catches for 40 yards and a touchdown and will step into a bigger role in the passing game. Senior lineman Trenton Smith (5-11, 250) and junior lineman CJ Delaware (6-3, 275) anchor the offensive front and will be critical as Anadarko adjusts to new opponents while trying to control the line of scrimmage. Rising sophomore Manny Botone, who made his mark as a physical outside linebacker, will step under center as the team’s starting quarterback and brings dual-threat capability to the position.
Defensively, Anadarko also returns four starters and will again rely on Sutteer to set the tone as a relentless edge rusher and setter at defensive end. He finished 2025 with 24 total tackles, two sacks, an interception, and a defensive touchdown, using his explosive first step and lateral agility to constantly threaten the backfield. Botone (6-0, 175) was a standout as a freshman with 59 total tackles, a sack, a fumble-recovery touchdown, and an interception returned for a score, and he will still be a key piece of the defense even as he transitions to quarterback. Sophomore middle linebacker Kane Wetselline (6-4, 170) added 50 total tackles in the middle of the defense, and outside linebacker Kewayne Tillis (5-11, 185) brings more size and athleticism to the second level. Sutteer is Anadarko’s Top 100 nominee and a 4.0 student who defines physicality on the field, and Jackson believes his two-way dominance, paired with Botone’s emergence and a hungry young core, can help the Warriors contend immediately in 2A.
