APACHE
WARRIORS

Coach: QUESTON AUTRY

0-10

Apache took its lumps with a young group in 2025, but the Warriors believe those growing pains will pay off in a big way this fall. With significant experience returning on both sides of the ball, the program is aiming to turn last season’s hard lessons into more competitive Friday nights in 2026. “We’re hoping the experience our young group gained last year will pay off for us this year,” says head coach Queston Autry. “We return a lot on both sides of the ball.”

On offense, Apache will base out of the spread, using space and tempo to highlight its playmakers and get the ball into favorable matchups. Grant Brown (6-4, 180) moves to wide receiver after proving to be a dynamic weapon earlier in his career, and he will also impact the game from the defensive backfield. The run game will feature Jake Ferrell (6-1, 185), a physical back who can carry the load, while Logan Azul (6-3, 240) and Luke Graham (6-1, 175) help anchor the offensive front and perimeter blocking. With nine offensive starters returning, Apache expects improved consistency and production across the board.

Defensively, the Warriors will line up in a 4-3 front and pride themselves on playing simple, fast and physical. The secondary features returners like Gannon Gates (5-11, 160) and Bb Looking Glass (5-9, 160), giving Apache speed and experience on the back end. Up front, Zane Carrol (6-3, 220) provides size and strength along the defensive line, while AJ Sapahoodle (5-9, 170) leads the linebacker group. With 10 defensive starters back, the Warriors believe improved tackling and recognition can help them turn close games in their favor.
