DIBBLE DEMONS
Coach: Nick Price
OUTLOOK
“We enter this year building off of last year’s state tournament run with a core group returning who are hungry for more,” said Dibble head coach Nick Price. “Though several key contributors have moved on, new faces are working hard and are prepared to build on last year’s success.”
At the center of that effort is Kaden Barnett, a junior who Price expects to impact the game in multiple ways. “Kaden had a great junior year on the mound, and I expect him to roll that right into this year,” Price said. “He has worked hard to put himself in the position to play a big role at the plate also.”
Underclassman Conner Vasquez will be counted on heavily, especially on the mound and in the outfield. “Conner has put the time and effort in to play a key role in our pitching staff,” said Price. “He will also be a contributor in the outfield for us.
Brayden Eldredge brings versatility and attitude the Demons will lean on throughout the season. “Brayden is a great teammate who is willing to do whatever is needed for our team,” Price said. “He is a guy who will play a lot of roles this year and will always have a great attitude and put forth his best effort.”
The Demons also return important experience across the roster. “Reese Merrick started as a freshman and sophomore and missed last year with a torn ACL,” Price said. “He will be a big part of our lineup and will also be in the pitching rotation.”
“Tucker Skipper has been in starting lineup since his freshman year and has continued to grow as a player,” Price said. “He is a guy who can play several positions and also pitch.”
“RJ Price will be a part of our staff along with playing 1st base and hitting in the middle of the lineup,” said the coach.
“AJ Skipper had a good freshman year, and we expect him to build on that this year,” Price said. “Noah Duarte will be valuable for us this year as he a player who can play any position on the field including pitcher. Carson Reed is a guy we expect to use this year in several different positions.”
