Q&A with Anadarko’s Aubree Price – Tennis Spotlight – Presented by Samantha Wallis Shelter Insurance

VYPE: What grade are you in, and what sports do you play?

Aubree: I am a sophomore at Anadarko, and I play tennis.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Aubree: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Taylor from 1st grade. She was always really nice and made sure every student learned in the way that worked best for them.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Aubree: Kelly has inspired me a lot. Even when she’s tired or not playing her best, she always pushes through and does well. That makes me want to do the same, and she’s super nice, too.

VYPE: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Aubree: I’d want to fly, so I’d never be late!

VYPE: What’s your favorite dessert?
 Aubree: Brownies for sure.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Aubree: Tennis has taught me to be a good sport, whether I win or not. Staying positive and respectful, no matter the outcome, is really important.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Aubree: I’m most proud of placing second in a tennis tournament during my 8th-grade year. That was a big moment for me and showed how much my hard work had paid off.

VYPE: What’s the best advice that anyone has given you?
Aubree: To not give up even when things get hard. That’s something I always try to remember during matches and in life.

VYPE: What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Aubree: Indoor skydiving! It seems like such a fun and unique experience.
