Chickasha’s girls soccer program is riding high this season with a talented squad that represents a significant step forward from an already strong foundation. As head coach Justin Croke explains, the Wildcats were impressive last year, but this team is built on continued growth and elevation. “We have a very strong senior group this year, which brings plenty of experience into the squad, and these players now have experience of playing in crucial title-deciding games,” he noted, adding that coaches are thrilled for everyone to witness “the type of talent we have here at Chickasha and the improvements we have made from last year.”
Senior captain Audri King embodies the leadership standard that defines this program. Playing at the heart of the defense, she sets the tone daily in practice and handles the mental side of the game with professionalism, having been instrumental in the school’s success over the past several years. Her presence provides stability for a squad hungry to build on recent success.
Sophomore Jessica Morgan represents the program’s exciting future. A freshman last year who showed tremendous potential early, Morgan has only grown more confident and clinical in her play heading into this season. Expect her to make an impact through both goals and assists as she steps into a larger role.
Senior Lainey Jones, a USAO commit, brings infectious energy and rare leadership qualities that unite the team. Beyond her consistent goal-scoring and playmaking abilities, her warmth and communication with teammates create the kind of culture that builds championship-caliber programs. She’s become an exceptional captain and leader.
Austin Clift, committed to Oklahoma City University, epitomizes professionalism both on and off the field. Her consistency, work ethic, and dedication across all aspects of her life have set the bar remarkably high for future Wildcat players. She brings bundles of soccer ability matched by her character.
Senior Shayla Day represents the grit this team possesses—a player who gives everything regardless of fatigue or injury, always ready for practice and competition. Her love for the game is infectious and her willingness to push through adversity strengthens the entire squad.
With this blend of experienced seniors providing leadership and guidance, emerging talent like Morgan pushing them forward, and coaches genuinely excited about the program’s direction, Chickasha is positioned to make serious noise this season.
