OUTLOOK

Dibble will field a young team this season as head coach Cameron Corbin looks to shuffle the lineup and find the right formula for success.

“We are young. The possibilities with this group are endless. The next few years will most definitely put Dibble on the map,” said coach Corbin. “Shilah McGaha led the team last year during one of the hardest seasons a team could ever have. A shooting guard, playing point guard is hard enough sometimes, but add in that we were hit with the unimaginable over Thanksgiving break. We had a junior player suddenly pass away right before the season started and then our point guard, Macy Lee blows her ACL. We were preparing for a deep playoff run and got punched in the face. To say I was proud of her is the epitome of an understatement.”

Lexi Bruce (5-7, Sr.) will play small forward with underclassman Chesney McGaha (5-10, Fr.) at power forward. The combo could develop into one of the top duos at their positions. Also look for Harper Lanham (5-9, Fr.), another underclassman, who can play point guard.

Emma Griffin (5-6, Jr.) is a shooting guard who is one of the team leaders and a player who does whatever it takes to help her team win. Griffin will put in the extra work to be successful. Hayden Regalado (5-9, Jr.) can play the 4-spot giving the Lady Demons another player inside who can crash the boards. Lily Cunningham is another hard worker and a player coach Corbin said he loves having on the team.
