OUTLOOK

“We have quite of few returning players from last year’s team. We return three staters and the entire bench which will help improve experience. The size and athleticism will also improve due to being so young last season,” coach Cache Hill said of the team entering the new season.

VYPE Top 100 selectee Aden Brummell (6-0, Sr.) returns after averaging 7.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game last season. A starter since his sophomore season, Brummell is a floor leader and a tremendous athlete. Landon McMahon (5-8, Sr.) is a tenacious guard who averaged 4.9 points, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game as a junior. Wing player Jose Martinez (5-9, Sr.) averaged 5.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest. Post player Brody Mathews (6-5, Jr.) took 31 charges last season while averaging 4.9 points and 4.7 rebounds. His play in the paint is crucial to the overall success of the team.

Other players to watch include Blayne Springsteen (6-0, Sr.), Jaxon Mathews (6-6, So.), Tucker Wilson (6-3, So.), Evan Chlouber (6-3, So.), Ethan Brown (5-11, Jr.), Bryson Bates (5-10, So.), Denver Ford (6-2, Fr.), Kaleb Newhouse (6-1, Jr.), Landon Wright (5-8, Jr.), Ryder Garrison (5-9, So.) and Bryson Phillips (5-10, So.).
