LOOKEBA-SICKLES LADY PANTHERS

COACH: Lance Scales

Record: 28-3

OUTLOOK

After a stellar 28-3 campaign last season, the Lookeba-Sickles Lady Panthers are once again primed to make noise under head coach Lance Scales, who continues to elevate the program through hard work, experience, and a talented roster that knows how to win.

“We have a lot of athleticism returning, as well as experience led by Rowyn Fite,” said Scales. “We’re expecting another big season from this group.”

At the center of the Lady Panthers’ success is senior point guard Rowyn Fite (5’5, Sr.), who averaged 22 points per game last season and has established herself as one of the premier scorers in Class B. “Rowyn is a really good scorer who can drop 25 at any time,” Scales said. “She’s a very quick guard that can shoot and handle it. As good as anyone in Class A or B.”

Joining Fite in the backcourt is senior Aspen Courtney (5’8, Sr.), a consistent scoring threat who averaged 11 points per game a year ago. Courtney’s ability to stretch the floor and attack the rim gives the Panthers another reliable weapon on offense.

Freshman Adalynn Luttrell is a new face who’s already generating plenty of buzz. “Adalynn is a freshman with great size and athleticism who can score and defend,” said Scales. “She will play a big role for our team this season.”

The Lady Panthers’ balanced offensive attack, led by Fite’s scoring ability and Courtney’s versatility, makes them one of the most dangerous teams in the state once again.

While the Panthers can fill up the scoreboard, Scales credits their defensive intensity and depth as the real difference-makers. That versatility allows Lookeba-Sickles to pressure opponents, force turnovers, and control the tempo of games.

With senior leadership, proven scorers, and a promising young star in Luttrell, the Lady Panthers enter the 2025-26 season with championship-level expectations — and coach Scales is confident in what his group can achieve. Lady Panthers are experienced, athletic, and ready to compete for another big run in the playoffs.
