ALEX LONGHORNS
Coach: JACOB OTEY
3-8
OFFENSE/DEFENSE
As the Longhorns prepare for the upcoming season, head coach Jacob Otey is focused on what the staff and the players need to accomplish to right the ship and get the Longhorns back in the playoff conversation. “We are 3-18 in the past two years, with a single playoff appearance. The players and coaches on this team are not happy with this and will turn things around this year. Faith, Family, Football. Go Longhorns,” said Otey. As a team, the players have decided to embrace the grind in the weight room, and work to get better every day while proving their ability to compete on the field this season. “The players have been very clear about keeping quiet and just working and proving themselves this year and as their coach we will stand by that,” said Otey. Rumors of a QB/LB transferring into the fold will certainly help the Longhorns reach their goals this season.
