Aubrie Pogue – Elk City
She is hitting 474 so far this year and is 11-0 in the circle with 100 strikeouts already. She just recently hit the 500 strikeout milestone for her career. She has proven to be one of the best arms in the state!

Sage Norton – Hobart
Sage, a sophomore is leading the team with a .435 avg with On base percentage of .536, She also 13 RBI, 15 runs scored and leads the team in walks. While playing a solid CF.

Lily Barfield – Cheyenne/Reydon
Pitcher – Lily is a four year starter at Pitcher, she is one of best the pitchers in the area. She is an extremely hard-worker and very active in the community and our school.

Morgan Pass – Bray Doyle
She is a senior this year. A leader not on only the field as pitcher but also in the classroom. She is involved in Fast-pitch softball, Slow-pitch Softball, FCCLA, FCA, Cheer, and Honor Society. She strives to be the best she can be.

Marley Teasley – Weatherford
Marley has started the season strong going 18 for 30 at the plate with 5 doubles and 5 home runs. She has also thrown 2 no hitters with 42 Ks in 30 innings.

Josey Carney – Mountain View – Gotebo
Senior leader for Mountain View – Gotebo. She is our current catcher and manages the game like a second coach on the field. She is the first to get her team hyped up and the first to gather them up after a tough loss. I am really proud of her leadership and her willingness to do what’s best for the team.

Jaycee McFerrin and Karlee McFerrin – Hollis
They are sisters, one is a Junior (Jaycee McFerrin – pitcher) and the other is a Sophomore (Karlee McFerrin – catcher).
Jaycee McFerrin for the month of August in the pitching circle included 128 strikeouts in 17 games pitched in with only 18 earned runs allowed, recording a 13-4 record in August. 1.726 ERA (Last year Jaycee was voted by coaches in our area as Co-Pitcher of the year, where she totaled 250 strikeouts and was 8th in the state for strikeouts in all classes, and helped us win our first ever game in school history for Class A Regional Playoffs)
Karlee McFerrin for the month of August .650 Avg with OBP of .720. She had 26 hits in 40 at bats, 17 singles, 6 doubles, 3 triples, and 1 HR, totaling 28 RBI, 10 walks, 14 stolen bases, and only 1 strikeout in the month of August. Karlee had a span of 7 games played in a tournament where she hit for .900 avg during the tournament. Also for catcher, she had a fielding % of .961 in 19 games played, throwing out 5 girls attempting to steal. (Last year Karlee was chosen by coaches in our area as Offensive MVP as a freshman where she hit .644 Avg and a .693 OBP in over 30 games played).

Brynne Woodress – Mangum
Brynne Woodress had a great month. I’ve tried not to pitch her too much so she isn’t exhausted at the end of the season. She plays 3b when she isn’t pitching and bats 3 hole for us. She has stepped up this year and is playing extremely well.

Kassidee Thompson – Velma-Alma
Senior catcher, #44. Kassidee is a 4 year starter who has accumulated many awards throughout her career including multiple seasons of all-conference. Kassidee bats cleanup for her team with impressive stats half way thru her senior season now: batting AVG .629 , OBP .649 , 1B 10 , 2B 5 , 3B 3 , HR 4 , RBI 15.

Elizabeth Deaver – Temple
She is our second baseman & is a HUGE leader on and off the field. She is our HYPE squad. She has a never-ending drive to improve & help her teammates improve. She is always there when they need her; whether it be with a kind word when they are down, a way for them to improve their skills, or a Great Job when it’s deserved.

Ellie Pierce – Sterling
Ellie Pierce is a Junior at Sterling Public Schools. Her bat has been hot all season long for us, hitting 5 home runs within 4 games early on this season. Can always count on her to come in clutch for us & to do big things for us offensively. She has a great attitude and is a great teammate.
