ALTUS BULLDOGS

BOYS

Coach: Andrew Tuan

23-24 Record: 4-20

The Bulldogs are ready to put last season in the rearview mirror and start fresh this year. Head coach Andrew Tuan’s squad will look to a trio of seniors to play a pivotal role on the season. “We are a younger team this year,” Tuan said. “But we look to have great leadership with our three seniors and we expect to compete and play hard every game. We are excited to play a tough district schedule and see where we stack up. We are moving in the right direction and have a lot of high expectations.” Gavyn Shive (6-5, Sr.) is one of those key players this season. He is a big man that works hard everyday to become a better player. He wants to win and is a really great person to all his teammates and coaches. He will be one of the big pieces for the team this year as a rim protector and scorer. Another guy that will have an impact this season is Carmille Fisher (6-5, Sr.). Fisher is a long and athletic wing player. He can shoot the ball and has been working to improve his ball handling and decision making. Maurquis Milton (Sr.) returns after averaging eleven points per game a year ago. He is a guy that is not afraid of hard work and he is a vocal leader of the team. Other guys looking to make an impact this season are Langdon Powell (Sr), Deiondre Welch (Sr), Juakeen Goodson (Jr), Eli Taylor (Jr), Kutter Kelm (Jr), Cole Osborne (Jr), and Chris Lewis (Jr). Rounding out the team will be Kapreese Giovannetti-Calcote (So), Levi Hunter (So), Jett Freeland (So), Calvin Davis (So), Cole Adams (So), and Pepper Osborne (So).
