Family and hard work are two things that carry great value for Lawton Eisenhower senior volleyball player.

Tito, who plays setter for the Eagles, is also considering playing basketball this season.

Motivated by her family, she said it’s her father who does it the most.

“He’s always pushed me to be the best I can be, and he’s just always been my No. 1

Supporter,” Tito said.

A mix of both serious dedication, hard work, and a love for the game is what Tito attributes her success to.

The highlight of her career is “being able to get a chance to play with my girls, Jairah Tito and Amya Alaelua. As my senior year goes by, all I ever wanted was to be the best role model for them and instill the love for volleyball in them, as I have,” Tito said.

In practice, she enjoys working with teammate Emma Hall.

“She’s always challenging me, helping me level up my game, making me think

strategically and sharpen my skills,” Tito said.

Tito said when she takes the court to represent her school, “it means carrying their pride and spirit every time I set foot on that court. It’s showing respect to whomever I play with and/or against. Giving my best effort, and also honoring the people who always supported me from the beginning. I’m not just playing for myself, but for everyone who believes in me and the place where I come from,” she said.

“Family has always been a big thing for me, so I really do this for them,” Tito said. “All I ever wanted was to make them proud. And another thing is that I always put God first in everything I do because without Him, I would not even be here, and receiving this article, I’m very blessed to have God in my life. Another thing I’m doing is for my culture, shoutout to all the Polynesian athletes out there, keep putting in the work, and continue to represent your heritage with pride.”
