The Lawton Eisenhower High School Cheer Team has built a reputation of spirit, dedication, and excellence, and the 2025 season is shaping up to be no different. Under the leadership of coaches Allison Anderson and Taylor Watson, the squad continues to prove themselves both on the competition floor and on the sidelines.
Last year, Eisenhower Cheer placed in the top 8 in the OSSAA Large Co-Ed Performance State division and brought home the J&C 6A Gameday State Championship, marking another milestone in the program’s proud tradition. This past June, the team attended J&C Cheer Camp, where their talent and hard work were on full display. The Eagles earned several awards for standout performances, multiple Top Gun titles, and an impressive 14 All-Star cheerleader selections.
Now, the team is focused on fine-tuning their Gameday routine as they prepare to compete in November. Beyond competition, Eisenhower Cheer takes great pride in cheering on their Eagles football, basketball, and wrestling teams, bringing energy and encouragement to every game.

But the bond between these athletes extends well beyond the mat and the sidelines. Team traditions like pre-game meals, Christmas parties, and the end-of-year banquet hosted by the Eisenhower Booster Club strengthen the family-like culture within the program.
Leading the way this season are Captain Abby Peterson, Captain Logan Reid, and Co-Captain Brooklynn Butler, who set the standard for teamwork, dedication, and school spirit. Together with their teammates, they represent Eisenhower with pride, passion, and determination.
With momentum from last year’s success and a strong foundation of leadership, Eisenhower Cheer is ready to take on another season of challenges, memories, and victories. Whether it’s on the sidelines or under the competition spotlight, one thing is certain: Eisenhower Cheer will continue to soar.
