
Weatherford High School senior Joe Bradley is a multisport athlete playing soccer and participating in cross country for the Weatherford High School Eagles. In soccer, Joe plays the positions of both central defensive midfielder, as well as center back. Many woukld consider Joe a sports veteran having played soccer for 13 years, and participating in cross country for 7 years.
Joe is proud to represent his school and his community as a student athlete. Joe proclaimed, “It gives me a big sense of pride to represent my school and community.”
Behind every student athlete is a role model that has impacted them. For Joe, he looks towards family as the source. Joe shared, “My biggest role model is my dad. He always pushes me to be better in everything that I do.”
In regards to someone at school that has made the greatest impact on his life, Joe stated, “Coach Willis is that person. Coach Willis helped me through my high school soccer seasons.”
Many memories are made during the career of a student athlete. For Joe, one memory in particular stands out the most. Joe recalled, “A favorite in memory in sports for me happened when I scored a hat trick during my sophomore year of high school soccer.”
As far as who Joe enjoys the most on social media, it is a tie between Alex the Terrible, and Ghost. Joe stated, “I love their music.”
In regards to a favorite athlete, Joe did not hesitate to speculate. Joe elated, “My favorite athlete is Erling Haaland.” Erling is a Norwegian soccer player, who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City, as well the Norway national team. Joe went on to say, “Erling Haaland is considered by many to be one of the best soccer players in the world.”
After graduating from Weatherford High School, Joe plans on joining the United States Armed Forces. Joe stated, “I am be going to be apart of the United States Air Force after graduating from high school.”
Joe has this piece of advice that he follows, “effort changes a game.”
