Athletes work hard so they can be at their best when they compete. But along with all the hard work, having a great support system is also important. Camden Pascher says that he has people in his life that have made a big impact on him.
“I have a lot of people that have helped me get where I am today,” Camden said. “Coach Miller, Coach Perkins, and Coach Cantrell for the great coaching and having confidence in me to come through for the team. Also, my dad for all the support and belief in me and my best friend Cody who puts in work with me on our own time.”
Pascher is a senior at Weatherford High School where he is a member of the school’s baseball team. Throughout his career, he has had some memorable moments on and off the field. But he has one that stands out to him.
“My favorite memory was when my team went to Omaha my sophomore year to watch the college World Series,” he recalled. “On the trip, we built really good chemistry and individual relationships.”
Whether he is practicing for baseball or working on school work, Camden does his best to focus and give all of his attention to what is in front of him.
“I try to do everything with 110% intent and effort,” he stated. “I focus on getting all my school work done in class to ensure that after school I would be ready to practice with the team and on my own time without a worry of due dates and deadlines for school work.”
Camden has enjoyed the teammates that he has competed alongside and he says that they have had a positive impact on him.
“My team as a whole has been such a good group of young men to watch and work with since moving here my freshman year,” he said. “Carter Teasley, a teammate of mine that graduated last year, taught me how to be a leader. He also taught me how to put in more work than the next guy, and to have a positive impact on the team after rough days.”
