Quarterback
Creed Tointigh – Mt. View-Gotebo
Creed enters the season as a four-year starter at quarterback and one of the program’s most dependable leaders. He combines quickness, a strong arm and excellent field vision, allowing him to make plays both inside and outside the pocket. His instincts, toughness and steady presence give Mt. View-Gotebo confidence every time he takes the field. Creed’s leadership and reliability will be key strengths for the Tigers this season.
Running Back
Cash Willis – Thomas
Willis returns after producing 674 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 79 carries. He showed the ability to be a productive and consistent ball carrier, averaging more than eight yards per attempt last season. Willis has the speed and vision to find running lanes while also providing a dependable option in the Thomas offensive attack. He will look to build on that strong production and remain a major contributor in the backfield.
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Jakoby Flynn – Weatherford
Flynn is an instinctive and dynamic playmaker who makes an impact for Weatherford on both sides of the ball. The Eagles work to get the ball in his hands because of his ability to create offense and make big plays in key moments. Although he may not be the biggest player on the field, Flynn plays with a physical, downhill style at free safety and is not afraid to step up against the run. He is also a respected leader whose calm, veteran presence and ability to connect with teammates make him especially valuable in the locker room. After once being unsure about football as a freshman, Flynn has grown into a player and person his teammates look up to.
Offensive Lineman
Evan Eyester – Thomas
Senior Eyester brings toughness, discipline and a strong work ethic to the Thomas offensive line. He is expected to be an important part of the unit’s success, providing experience and physicality up front. Eyester’s willingness to do the demanding work in the trenches helps set the tone for the offense. His leadership and consistency will be valuable for the Terriers throughout the season.
Defensive Lineman
Hunter Reinschmidt – Thomas
Reinschmidt recorded 26 tackles last season and returns as a key presence along the Thomas defensive front. His production reflects his ability to stay active around the football and contribute against both the run and pass. Reinschmidt will be counted on to bring physicality at the line of scrimmage and help disrupt opposing offenses. As he builds on last year’s experience, he has the potential to become an even bigger factor for the Terriers defense.
Linebacker
Deuce Tripp – Thomas
Tripp was a productive defensive playmaker for Thomas last season, finishing with 53 tackles, two sacks and one interception. His ability to make stops in the running game while also contributing as a pass rusher gives the Terriers versatility at linebacker. Tripp shows a nose for the football and has already proven he can create momentum-changing plays for the defense. He will again be a central piece of the Thomas defensive unit this season.
Defensive Back
Carter Frymire – Thomas
Carter recorded 19 tackles and one interception last season, showing his ability to contribute in the Thomas secondary. He is expected to take on an important role in the defensive backfield and help provide a reliable presence against the pass. Frymire has the instincts to make plays on the ball and the toughness to support the defense in the open field. Opposing quarterbacks will need to know where he is lined up each week.
