SOFTBALL

Tralynn White – Cordell
Tralynn or Tra as we call her, will be a sophomore for our High School Fastpitch team this season. As a freshman, she led the team in every category, offensively and defensively. She started the season covering 3rd. She made a ton of plays with her glove, but then even more with her bat. Five games into the season, she had to move behind the plate and play catcher for us due to injuries. I could put her anywhere on the field and she would have success. She will be a key piece of our team for years to come!

Aubrie Pogue – Elk City
Aubrie Pogue, a standout senior for the Elk City softball team, has been a dominant force in the circle throughout her high school career. Known for her powerful arm, Pogue has amassed over 700 strikeouts, establishing herself as one of the most formidable pitchers in the state. In addition to her prowess on the mound, she’s also a consistent threat at the plate. With a career batting average above .350, Pogue has been a mainstay in the middle of the Lady Elks’ lineup, delivering key hits in pressure moments and providing steady offensive production. Her combination of pitching dominance and offensive consistency makes her a true dual threat, and she can go toe-to-toe with any opponent. As she enters her final season, Aubrie remains a key leader and difference-maker for Elk City.

Kaitlyn Bryant – Weatherford
Kaitlyn has been a cornerstone of the Elk City softball program, serving as the team’s starting catcher for the past three seasons. A talented and dependable athlete, she brings consistency and a high level of skill to every game. While she has excelled behind the plate throughout her high school career, Kaitlyn is expected to transition to second base at the next level—a testament to her versatility and athletic ability. Coaches praise her not only for her performance on the field but also for her leadership and steady presence in the dugout. Heading into her senior season, Kaitlyn is poised for a standout year, both as a player and a leader. Her experience, work ethic, and competitive drive make her a key figure in the success of the Lady Elks.
