VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you compete in?

Yahir: I am a junior at Weatherford High School. I play soccer and football.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?

Yahir: Soccer has taught me to never give up even when times are hard and not going your way.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Yahir: My teammate Miguel Perez always pushes me to do my best even when days get tough.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Yahir: I’m most proud of winning the Weatherford Classic my sophomore year.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Yahir: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Musick because she understands how busy student athletes can be and is very kind.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Yahir: Lionel Messi because he’s the best player in the world.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Yahir: Dream until your dreams become reality.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Yahir: My favorite meal would be chicken wings.
