Q&A with Weatherford’s Nora Lindamood – Presented by Momentum Homes

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Nora: I am a sophomore at Weatherford High School. I do not currently play any sports but I am a manager for the varsity volleyball team.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher at any grade?

Nora: My favorite teacher has been my 10th grade biology teacher, Coach Willis. He pushes his students to constantly do better and he makes sure to make relationships with his student rather than to just teach them.

VYPE: What teammate has had the biggest impact on you?

Nora: Viva Bluth is the team mate that has made the biggest impression on me. She is encouraging and is never afraid to be herself. Viva also makes sure to include people when they may be being left out and she never fails to have a smile on her face while doing so.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Nora: My best friend Sadie Kliewer  is someone who I look up to a lot. She inspires me to keep going when things get tough and through watching her do all the things she does she has motivated me to be a harder worker.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of representing your high school?

Nora: My favorite part of representing Weatherford high school is definitely getting to be apart of the community we have. I feel like we have such a loving group of people that are always there ready and willing to help when they need to!

VYPE: What is the best advice you have been given?

Nora: The best advice I’ve ever been given is the advice to “be too busy watering your grass to worry about how green others are”. I think this is good advice to not compare your journey with others seeing as comparison is the thief of joy!

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Nora: My all time favorite meal has got to be Mexican food.

VYPE: If you could go anywhere on vacation and take anyone you want, where would you go and who would you take?

Nora: If I could pick any vacation for the summer I would pick Greece. I would love to go to Greece because it is warm and has beautiful architecture. I would take my best friend Sadie, my mom, and my sister, Neelie.

VYPE: Here is your chance to shoutout to anyone you wish.

Nora: I would like to shout out to my high school volleyball coach , Scott Miller. Coach Miller has been a person I have looked up to as I have been on the team. He is patient and very slow to anger. I also admire how wise he is and all the good advice he has to give.
