Weatherford’s Jake Crisp

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Jake: I am a senior at Weatherford and I am on the soccer, track, and football teams. 

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?

Jake: The only thing you can control is how hard you work.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Jake: Logan Doyles because he was with me year round and helped me throughout everything.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Jake: Being the first team in school history to win our soccer tournament back to back.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Jake: Mr. Parker Howl because he was always there to help with anything. 

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Jake: My entire family inspires me because even when they aren’t at their best they push me to be my best and are always smiling.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Jake: The only thing you can control is your effort.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?

Jake: I am in Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, BancFirst Advisory Board, and Special Olympics.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Jake: Lemon Pepper Crab Boil from Hook & Reel
