VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Luke: I am a junior at Elk City. I play offensive right tackle in football.

VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most with in practice?

Luke: Aiden Muse, because he is constantly trying to make me better.

VYPE: What motivates you?

Luke: My fellow teammates and coaches motivate me because we all have high expectations of each other.

VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models?

Luke: My dad, because he has taught me the importance of hard-work.

VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life?

Luke: Coach Maynard because he not only coaches us to be successful football players, but also successful men later in life.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Luke: A quote my grandpa told me-“When you compete against everyone else, no one wants to help you. But when you compete against yourself, everyone wants to help you.”

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Luke: Pepper steak with mashed potatoes and corn.

VYPE: What clubs and campus activities are you involved with?

Luke: Choir, Student Council, the National Honor Society, Special Olympics partner, Key Club, Interact, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
