CORN BIBLE ACADEMY CRUSADERS

Coach: ZACH HOUSE

6-4

OFFENSE

Coming off a solid 6-4 campaign, the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders return six starters on offense and are poised to build on last year’s success. The centerpiece of the attack is senior quarterback Zack Zybach, who enters his third season as the starter. Zybach’s poise, leadership, and familiarity with the system give the Crusaders a reliable field general capable of making plays through the air and on the ground. Surrounding Zybach is a talented group of skill players, highlighted by leading receivers Braxton Souza and Jaden Zeller. Both bring dependable hands and the ability to stretch defenses vertically, which should keep opposing secondaries honest all season long. The offensive line returns multiple experienced contributors who have built strong chemistry over the years, providing Zybach with time to operate and creating lanes for the Crusaders’ ground game. With a senior-heavy core and playmakers at every level of the offense, Corn Bible Academy will look to stay balanced and explosive as they aim for a deeper postseason run in 2025.

DEFENSE

Anchoring the defense is standout senior Cruze Bittle, a four-year starter whose impact is felt on every snap. At 6’1” and 230 pounds, Bittle has been a force at linebacker, earning All-District Second Team honors as a freshman and sophomore before being named First Team as a junior. His production last season included 22 tackles with 8 tackles for loss, showcasing his ability to diagnose plays and deliver big stops in the backfield. Bittle’s presence alone forces opponents to adjust their game plans, as few teams have had success challenging his side of the field. As the team captain, he sets the tone with his physicality and relentless motor, while also providing veteran leadership to a unit blending seasoned returners and young talent. If the Crusaders can rally around Bittle’s example and develop consistency across all three levels of the defense, they have a chance to be among the toughest defensive squads in their district. With experience, leadership, and depth, Corn Bible Academy has every reason to expect another strong season on both sides of the ball.
