SULPHUR BULLDOGS

BOYS

Coach: Grant Allan Bates

23-24 Record: 10-15

The Bulldogs bring back a number of familiar faces from last season and are looking forward to building off of last year. Head coach Grant Allan Bates likes the progress his team has made and is looking forward to this season. “We are a team that’s hungry with a lot of returning players as well as some new additions,” Bates said. “We had a good summer and we are continuing to grow as a group. We are excited for the upcoming season.” Bridge Barrett (6-0, Jr.) is a guy that should make a big impact this season. As a sophomore last year, he averaged 16.2 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals per game. He is a three sport athlete for Sulphur and is a highly skilled and motivated player.

Playing point guard will be Cole Kirby (5-7, Fr.). He is a very skilled athlete and a gritty defender. He is a guy on the offensive end that makes everyone better around him by his passing ability. He will continue to grow in the scoring category. He has the potential to have a really big season for the Bulldogs. Another guy to keep an eye on is Devin Willis (6-1, Sr.). He is in his senior year and he is an outstanding athlete and teammate. Other members of the team that will look to contribute this season are Dugan Gray (6-0, So.), Noah Carr (5-9, Sr.), Colten Cole (6-3, Jr.), Rush Pittman (6-0, So.), Donte Harrison (6-0, So.), Jackson Freehill (6-0, So.), Castin Tully (6-2, Jr.), Jojo Gray (5-11, So.), Trey Anderson (6-1, Sr.), Garin Watson (6-0, Fr.), Jaxxon Beam (6-3, So.), Acer Dixon (6-1, So.), Kaleb Walker (6-1, So.), and Jett Terry (6-6, Sr.).
