DAVIS WOLVES

GIRLS

Coach Jeff Brown

23-24 Record: 22-5

Preslee Hunt – Junior – Davis High School

The Lady Wolves enjoyed a solid season a year ago, advancing to the regional round of the playoffs and ending with a 22-5 record. But head coach Jeff Brown’s squad is bringing back all the players from last season and hoping to make a deeper run in the postseason. “We return all players from last year’s 22 win season,” Brown said. “We look to build off of that and be even better this year.” Preslee Hunt (5-7, Jr.) will be one of the key players back for Davis this season. She is an outstanding three-point shooter and was the conference Most Valuable Player last season. Another big time player for the Wolves will be Jakobi LaNoy (5-8, Jr.)

Jakobi LaNoy – Junior – Davis High School

She is the leader of the team and she always seems to come up with a huge bucket when the team needs it. She is a point guard and has really improved over the offseason. Montanna Carter (5-8, Fr.) is a freshman but has been practicing with the high school team since she was a seventh grader. Even as an underclassman, she will look to make a big impact on the season. Tylisha McDonald (5-7, Sr.) is a very hard worker with an excellent attitude. She has a great work ethic and always gives it her all whether it is a game or practice. Other players that will work to make an impact this season are Kensley Barnes (5-9, Sr.), Kamryn Martin (5-3, Sr.), Mattie Morton (6-0, Jr.), Shelby Courtney (5-7, Sr.), Lily Hefley (5-6, Jr.), Addison Danker (5-4, Sr.), Kara Busey (5-7, Sr.), and Luciana Contreras (6-0, So.).
