ARDMORE TIGERS
GIRLS
Coach: David Vann
23-24 Record: 12-16
The Lady Tigers are under new leadership as they take the court this season. David Vann is in his first year at the helm of the program and he is looking forward to getting the season underway. “Our team has a strong sense of optimism and determination,” Vann said. “I think I have a solid foundation with a mix of experienced players and promising young talent, and the chemistry developed in the offseason is already showing. While I anticipate challenges, I am confident in our preparation, strategy, and the grit of my players. This season is all about capitalizing on opportunities, staying resilient, and making every game count from the past few years that kept this team from being successful. I am excited to see how far this team can go.”
“ ”One benefit that he has is he has a solid group of senior leaders. Alivea Pettigrew (5-6, Sr.), Emerie Adams (5-11, Sr.), Madison Clark (5-9, Sr.), Khamylle Williamson (5-4, Sr.), Destinee McGee (5-7, Sr.), Milana Vance-Marshall (5-10, Sr.), and Kierra Dorsey (5-10, Sr.) are all outstanding players that will play a big role in the team’s success this season. They are all hard workers and have put in the time and effort to be successful. The rest of the team, made up of Camille Brooks (5-9, Jr.), Jaslynn Higginbotham (5-6, So.), Kayionna McGee (5-4, So.), Kena Apala (5-10, So.), and Amara King (6-1 Fr.) will all look to be contributors and make an impact wherever they can.
