ARDMORE TIGERS

BOYS

Coach: Kyle Jessie

23-24 Record: 15-13

The Tigers had a solid season last year, ending in the Area round of the playoffs. But this season, they hope to build off of that success and make a deeper run. Head coach Kyle Jessie says that the team has some holes to fill but he is looking forward to seeing what they can do. “After a successful run to the area tournament, we are looking to continue last years’ success,” Jessie said. “We are looking to replace five seniors with some eager young men ready to make their names known.” One of those guys looking to have a big season is Demontrea Stevenson (6-3, Sr.). He is the lone returning starter for the Tigers and he is a highly skilled and intelligent player. He looks to inherit a bigger role for the Tigers this season. A new face on the floor for Ardmore will be Aedan Ellison (6-0, Jr.). He is a skilled offense player that is relentless on the offensive glass. Jacoby Jefferson (6-6, So.) gained valuable minutes last year as a freshman. He has the potential to take over games offensively and defensively this season. Other members of the team that will look to make an impact this season are Brylan Booker (6-3, Sr.), Catrell Roberts (5-7, Sr.), Joseph Cohee (5-5, Sr.), Dayveon Glover (5-10, Sr.), Marq Howard (6-0, Sr.), Jamarcus Brooks (5-9, Sr.), Javon Singleeton (6-3, Sr.), Chrisean Loftis (6-10, Jr.), and Kdrien Miller (5-8, So.)
