TIPTON TIGERS
Coach: TRAVIS WHITE
14-0
OFFENSE
The Tigers return this season with high expectations despite losing some key contributors from last year’s state championship squad. The challenge will be for new leaders to step up and fill those roles. With a tough schedule ahead, including a week two matchup against Class B1 semi-finalist Hollis, Tipton will be tested early and often. District battles against Geary, Ryan, and MVG will push the team to its limits, ensuring the Tigers are battle-tested come playoff time. Key offensive players include running back JJ Jillah (5-8, 175, Jr.), who powered through last season with 15 touchdowns and 1,123 rushing yards. Fullback Roy Manriquez (5-8, 175, Jr.) also returns strong, bringing 13 touchdowns and 655 yards on the ground. Quarterback Kaydence Sheffield (5-7, 140, Jr.) will look to build on his 17 passing touchdowns and 743 yards from last year, supported by a solid offensive line anchored by center Mitchell Babcock (5-10, 200, Sr.). Tight end Chris Addy (6-4, 215, Jr.) adds a dynamic weapon in the passing and running game, providing size and speed to keep defenses off balance.

DEFENSE
Defensively, the Tigers lean on a group of hardworking and talented athletes determined to control the line of scrimmage. Babcock, a key figure on both sides of the ball, led the defense with 55 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks last year. Defensive end Addy was a force with 70 tackles, 8 sacks, and 5 batted passes, using his rare combination of speed and power to disrupt opponents. Linebacker Davieon Brown (6-0, 180, Jr.) brings relentless energy with 85 tackles and 3 fumble recoveries, while safety Jillah provides coverage and support in the secondary. Freshman Daytyn Huff is an up-and-coming player off the field as well, heavily involved in FFA activities and service projects, showing the character that the program values. With strong leadership and a tough schedule, the Tipton Tigers are poised for another deep postseason run.
