OFFENSE
The Blue Devils advanced to the second round of the Class A playoffs last season before having their season ended. As they enter a new season, they are ready to learn from last season and make some more noise come playoff time. They will have experience on their side as they have 15 returning seniors, 11 of which have considerable playing time. Looking to be a big contributor to the offense’s success this season will be BJ Palmer at running back. He is a solid running back that will open up things for the offense. Kaden Griffen will be playing both fullback and running back. Splitting time at wide receiver and running back will be John Fremin, who is a solid athlete who knows how to make plays. Anchoring things on the offensive line and keeping the defense at bay will be Koby Kosechata at center and Fisher Parks at guard.
DEFENSE
Last season, the Blue Devils defensive unit had a solid year, only allowing their opponents an average of 13 points per game. They will look to continue that strong defensive play this season to help their team be successful. The defense will be led by a strong group at linebacker. Ian Good, Palmer, Griffen, and Fremin will each see time at linebacker. They will have their heads on a swivel and be ready to attack the ball. John Jones will be on the defensive line, looking to wreak havoc and disrupt the plans of the opposing team.
