VYPE: What grade are you in, and what sports do you play?
Adley: I am a sophomore at Velma-Alma. I play softball, run track, and powerlift.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Adley: Teamwork and communication are a big thing, but also how to handle failure.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Adley: Showing passion in doing what i love by working endlessly trying to be the best teammate I can be, wether it be playing multiple positions, wanting to be the one at bat when we need a hit to get a rally going and being a vocal leader building everyone up throughout the game and keeping a positive attitude no matter how the game is going.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Adley: Wow, this is a hard question, as several teammates have left a big impression on me, all for different reasons, which is why I love playing softball and making so many memories with my different teammates throughout the years. They all hold a special place in my heart because they, too, are my family.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Adley: Albert Einstein because he was thought to be less intelligent when in reality it was where he was, showing that if you don’t thrive where you are, then do yourself a good and change the atmosphere.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Adley: Don’t focus on what you’ve done wrong in the past, but focus on fixing it for the future.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Adley: Mrs Wilbur ( History) because she made learning fun and desirable
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
