Marlow Outlaws Girls Basketball Team Preview – Presented by Legacy Bank Marlow

The Marlow Outlaws girls’ basketball team is gearing up for an exciting 2025-2026 season under the guidance of second-year head coach Megan Robbins. After finishing 10-15 last year, the Outlaws are focused on building chemistry, improving depth, and integrating a talented freshman class that could make an immediate impact.

Coach Robbins emphasized the experience and leadership returning from last year’s squad. “We return three seniors who were our leading scorers, averaging a combined 31 points per game,” Robbins said. “They set the tone for our team with their effort, skill, and competitiveness, and they’ll be key to helping our younger players develop this season.”

The senior leadership group includes Carson Lovett (5-7, Sr.) at point guard, who averaged 11.5 points per game, 3.3 assists, and 2 steals last year, and Kinley Castle (5-7, Sr.) playing guard/forward, who contributed 10.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. Gracee Ottinger (5-7, Sr.) is another senior guard/forward, adding scoring and defensive versatility, averaging 9.4 points and nearly two steals per game. Together, these seniors provide a strong backbone for the team, on and off the court.

Returning underclassmen like junior Grace Lovelady (5-9, Jr.), the team’s starting post, and sophomores Sarah Holding (5-7, So.), Brooklyn Williams (5-7, So.), and Madysen Staggs (5-6, So.) bring size, skill, and defensive presence, while also benefiting from the leadership of the seniors. Their continued growth in the offseason should allow them to contribute more consistently this year.

Marlow is also excited about a strong freshman class that could make an early impact. Kylee Johnson (5-6, Fr.), Belle Pettijohn (5-6, Fr.), Sadie Budlong (5-6, Fr.), Tenley Gore (5-8, Fr.), Harleigh Pax (5-5, Fr.), and Camerson Lovett (5-8, Fr.) bring energy, athleticism, and fresh talent to the roster. Freshman Hattie Gann (5-9, Fr.) will also add depth in the post, complementing Lovelady and giving the Outlaws more options on both ends of the floor.

Coach Robbins is optimistic about the blend of experience and youth on this year’s squad. “We’ve got a solid mix of leadership, returning players, and talented newcomers,” she said. “If everyone buys in and works together, we could have a very competitive and fun season.”

With a combination of proven scorers, developing underclassmen, and a talented freshman class ready to contribute, the Marlow Outlaws are poised to compete and grow throughout the season, building momentum and confidence along the way.
