After a thrilling 28-13 campaign that ended with a trip to the Class 5A State Semifinals, the Duncan Lady Demons enter the 2025 fastpitch season with momentum and confidence. Head coach Jimmy Miller, now in his third year at the helm, has built a strong foundation and a winning culture—one that has this year’s group hungry to go even further.
“We have a great core of players returning from last year’s State Semifinalist team,” said Miller. “The goal is to keep improving every day and build on the success we’ve created.”
With experience, depth, and a group of standout juniors, Duncan looks poised to once again be a force in Class 5A.

In center field, Mallory Taylor brings elite speed and sharp instincts. A spark plug at the top of the order, Taylor has the ability to turn singles into extra bases and create scoring opportunities with her aggressive baserunning. Defensively, her range and awareness make her a constant threat in the outfield.

Behind the plate, Mady Vonfeldt anchors the defense with a powerful presence. Known for her strong arm and commanding leadership, Vonfeldt also brings thunder to the middle of the lineup. “She’s a great catcher with tons of power at the plate,” Miller said. “She gives us confidence on both sides of the ball.”

Adding to the team’s versatility is Rae Crow, a dynamic utility player who excels behind the plate and across the infield. Crow’s aggressive mindset and raw strength at the plate give the Lady Demons another major weapon. Whether she’s working behind the dish or locking down an infield position, her energy and toughness set the tone.
With this trio of talented juniors leading the way, and a deep roster behind them, the Lady Demons are once again eyeing a deep playoff run. The standard has been set in Duncan—and the 2025 squad is ready to rise to the challenge.
