RUSH SPRINGS LADY REDSKINS

Coach: JENNIFER BURCH

2024-25 Record: 7-16

OUTLOOK

In her ninth year at Rush Springs and fifth as head coach, Jennifer Burch is replacing one of her top players but has several underclassmen who are preparing to step in to their new roles.

“We will be young and athletic. Lost a big piece in Kimberly Fox, but we have some freshmen and sophomores who will look to fill the void together. Ashlynn Carruth (5-5), sophomore guard is our returning leading scorer with 10.4 points per game. Bailey Schmidt (5-5, Jr.), Kensley Jones (5-6, Jr.) and Caylie Brewer (5-9, Jr.) are our experienced juniors, we will be a defensively focused team and will look to use our speed and athleticism to create offense from our defense. Looking for contributions from freshmen D’Lila Laughlin (5-5, Fr.) and Emma Randall (5-8, Fr.). Seniors Kinsley Howard (5-11) and Kaillyn Dove (5-7) were both injured last year so we are looking to add them into the mix as well,” coach Buch said.

Other players to watch include Rylee Hart (5-5, Jr.) and Hyvan Laughlin (5-6, So.). Hart is new to the school while Laughlin could see time at guard.
