VYPE: What grade are you in, and what sports do you play?
Javier: I am a junior at Chickasha High School, and I play baseball and football.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Javier: My favorite part about representing Chickasha is that I get to show our pride and how much love I have for the school, and everything event I go to I will wear the purple and gold.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Javier: I am most proud of having back-to-back state tournament appearances and starting in both appearances.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Javier: The teammate who has left the biggest impression on me is Bryan Lopez. In my freshman year, he really took me under his wing and taught me how to work harder and make the game fun.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Javier: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Jantzen. In my sophomore year, she just made every day a great day and made me really enjoy her class.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?
Javier: I look up too Fransisco Lindor cause I try to model my game off of his and try to really hold myself as he does.

Javier: I want to give thanks to my mom and dad for everything they’ve gone through for me to get to where I am.
VYPE: What is your favorite dessert?
Javier: My favorite dessert is carrot cake.
VYPE: What is at the top of your bucket list?
Javier: My top bucket list thing is to visit every MLB stadium in the country.
