The Lady Bulldogs will look to a returning group of players to lead them this season. Head coach Tyler Roberts says that he thinks his squad has the potential to make another playoff run this season. “We are looking to build off of a good season last year,” coach Roberts said. “We lost one senior so our main core is still together and looking forward to competing. I think we have a shot to make the area tournament again, we went on a run last year and were able to make it to the area. Leading the charge for the team will be Laney Harris (Sr.). She is the motor to the team and she makes plays on both ends of the court. Last season as a junior, she led the team with 379 total points, 182 rebounds, and 74 steals. She is long and athletic and creates turnovers. Tatum Wright (Jr.) and Briley Edwards (Jr.) are two other members of the team that will work to be key contributors to the Lady Bulldogs’ success this season. Other players to watch this season are Paisley Journeycake (Sr.), Olivia Bross (Sr.), Ava Russell (Jr.), Abigail McCracken (Jr.), Daegan Ford (So.), Mayia Briscoe (So.), Betsy Martinez (So.), Ezrela Cruz (So.), Avery Teel (Fr.), Braelyn Brassfield (Fr.), Haylee Bross (Fr.), Kenedee Luster (Fr.), and Lannie Miller (Fr.).
