Nacobi Miller is quickly making her presence known at Lindsay High School as a dedicated multi-sport athlete with a bright future ahead. A sophomore competing in both softball and basketball, Miller brings energy, competitiveness, and a genuine love for the game every time she steps onto the field or court. Her motivation is rooted in a bigger picture, one that keeps her focused on growth and the experiences along the way.
“My future, the memories I’m making, and my love for the sport.”
That mindset has helped Miller stay committed to improving her skills each day, understanding that success comes from consistent effort and determination.
“It has taken constantly a lot of dedication and hard work each day wanting to get better, striving to be a better athlete.”
Her hard work has already paid off in a big way, earning Newcomer of the Year honors and setting the tone for what promises to be a strong high school career. Miller embraces competition, especially in matchups that bring out the best in her team.
“Blanchard, it’s always back and forth with who wins and I feel like that’s what makes the game more competitive.”
She also values the relationships that push her to improve, particularly the connection she shares with her cousin and teammate.
“Addison Dodson, my older cousin, works hard to get better each day and I know hard days or easy she will push me to get better each day too.”

Miller credits her love for softball to her aunt, who played a key role in shaping her passion for the game.
“My aunt, she was always a big sister I looked up to when it came to softball. She helped teach me how to play and she was one of the people that helped me learn the importance of the game but also to have fun no matter what.”
She has also been impacted by Coach Hudgens, who helped make the process of improving both enjoyable and meaningful.
“Coach Hudgens…made the process of working hard and getting better enjoyable. He made practices and games something I looked forward to and not something I had to get through.”
For Miller, representing Lindsay goes beyond performance, it is about setting an example.
“To me it means stepping on the field and showing the effort, values and school spirit…setting an example for the younger kids and showing what your school stands for.”
With her work ethic, passion, and perspective, Miller continues to build a strong foundation for success.
