Lindsay’s Brooklyn Webster
Growing up in the world of agriculture is a lifestyle like no other. It creates individuals with a work ethic rivaled by very few. It develops students who find a home in their local FFA programs. The same can be said for Lindsay High School’s Brooklyn Webster.
“I first got involved in FFA my 8th grade year, my family encouraged me to join FFA since I was already involved with the agricultural industry,” said Webster.
As a member of the FFA chapter, Webster has found plenty of activities to keep her busy.
“In my FFA chapter I am our chapter secretary, I do prepared speaking, show pigs, and am on our judging team,” Webster said. “My favorite thing about FFA is the opportunities given and memories made.”
Also a cheerleader, and a member of the band, Webster somehow finds the time to participate in student council and National Honor Society. Being a member of the varsity cheer squad is something Webster loves.
“The thing I love most about being a cheerleader is spending time with my team,” Webster said. “My cheer coach Lori Karpe inspires me most as an athlete because she is constantly pushing me to be the best I can be.”
Now in her junior year, Webster is making plans for life after high school.
“After I graduate plan to go to OSU and major in animal science with the option of Pre-Law, to one day go into Ag-Law.
