CYRIL PIRATES

BOYS

Coach: Ty Harman

23-24 Record: 12-12

The Cyril Pirates are looking to build off of last season and make a deep playoff run. Head coach Ty Harman says that with some key players on the roster, his squad has the opportunity to make some noise this postseason. “We will be a long athletic group that will be able to really defend,” he said. “Scoring will be improved with the addition of transfer Noah Martin and explosive athlete Brayven Thompson to go with returning starter Nash Harman, who averaged 30 points per game last year as a sophomore. We have a chance to compete for a state tournament berth.” Nash Harman (6-0, Jr.) is an explosive scorer that will look to pick up where he left off last season. He is a leader on the court that can also defend at an elite level. New to the team this season is Noah Martin (6-3), who will play at shooting guard. He is a crafty finisher around the rim and excellent shot blocker on the defensive end. One of the younger guys to watch out for is Brayven Thompson (6-0, Fr.). He is an explosive athlete who has the ability to play above the rim. He also has the potential to be a lockdown defender. Other members of the team that will look to make contributions to the team this year are Zayden Hayworth, Daylon Adamson, Eric McClean, Braden Hajj, Ashton Langilotti, Braxton Hughes, Bryson Cocheron, Ryan Long, Aaron Woodward, Caden Sumpter, Kyle Konecney, Braxton Cochran, Brennen McGrath, and Raymond Payne.
