The Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks cheer team has a fresh coaching staff, motivated athletes, and lofty goals. Under the guidance of Head Coach Miranda Molder, the team is focused on increasing stunt difficulty, perfecting technique, and building a positive, enthusiastic practice culture. With experienced seniors leading the way, the Chicks are determined to make a podium finish in all competitive categories this year.
“This season, we’re emphasizing a positive practice environment and leading by example,” Coach Molder said. “Our athletes are working hard every day, improving in skill and character, and it’s exciting to see their dedication.”
Seniors like Lindy Kate (KK) Butler exemplify the leadership and drive that set the tone for the team. KK is a seventh-year Fightin’ Chick with 11 years of competitive cheer experience. Known for her energy, encouragement, and selfless attitude, she leads with heart, both in and out of the gym. Her teammates rely on her to stay present, positive, and perform at the highest level. Beyond cheer, KK excels academically, balancing top-tier grades with a commitment to her team.
Lakiria Abram is another senior powerhouse, equally recognized for her strength, skill, and infectious personality. A ten-year competitive cheer veteran and six-year Fightin’ Chick, Lakiria brings intensity, energy, and precision to every stunt and jump. Her teammates thrive on her presence in the gym, where she blends leadership with lightheartedness, making her both a reliable teammate and an inspiration on the floor.
Looking ahead, Raylee Ramsey is the underclassman to watch. Though less experienced than some, she has quickly become the team’s top tumbler and a skilled flyer. Raylee’s athleticism, eagerness to learn, and adaptability make her a rising star, and her bases love the confidence and energy she brings to every practice.
With a balance of veteran leadership, emerging talent, and a coaching staff committed to skill development and team culture, the Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks are poised for an exciting season. Their combination of talent, dedication, and positive energy positions them to compete at a high level and showcase the heart of Chickasha cheer.
