Baseball

Layton Bryan – Chickasha

A senior and four-year starter for Chickasha, Bryan is a great kid who works hard and is an outstanding player. He has committed to Cowley County

Trey Ott & Austin Maddox – Dibble

Trey has been the team’s starting catcher each year of high school, and Austin has been the starting shortstop each year of his high school career. Both of these guys have also been hitting in the top half of the lineup. They possess a passion for baseball and have worked hard to get to the level they are at now. Both are going to college on baseball scholarships.

Golf

Emma Woodard – Newcastle

Emma missed state by one stroke. She is looking to improve on that this season. She is eager to see what she can accomplish this season.

Tennis

Sam Battiest – Anadarko

Sam is a junior who has put in a lot of time with private lessons and workouts. Looks to have a solid season. 

DaeLena Tsonetokoy – Anadarko

DaeLena has been to state in her sophomore and junior years. She made it later in the second day, but then ended up with a groin pull that prevented her from finishing. She is a fierce and tough competitor. She also leads the team and does not allow slack from other team members. She is everything you would want in a player.

Tatym Walley – Chickasha

Tatym played in random spots in middle school until she moved to varsity last season. She has worked and built herself into one of the team’s top two players and has created her own persona and style on the court. She has gained confidence and gone from a timid freshman to a confident player and is ready to meet her challenger head-on.

Track

Allison Sanders – Maysville

She was a state qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles and is expected to build off of last year. She has her sights set on the podium at state this year.

Noah Alviso – Maysville

A state qualifier in shot put and discus last year as a sophomore. Being at the state meet last year has made him hungry to start this season. He has his sights set on the state podium this season in both events.
