OUTLOOK
Several players make their return to the lineup for the Lady Bulldogs of Minco High School. Head coach Tyler Roberts is in his fourth season, and he is excited to get this team on the court.
“I am excited to see how this team responds this year. We had some goals that we didn’t achieve last year, and I am excited to see the determination and growth from them this offseason. We graduated a couple of good players from last year’s team, and I am looking forward to seeing some of the underclassmen step up into leadership roles,” coach Roberts said.
Daegon Ford (5-7, Jr.) can play shooting guard and small forward. Ford was named to the VYPE Top 100 watch list and is one of the top players in the class. Ford has help in players like Tatum Wright (5-5, Sr.) at point guard and Briley Edwards (5-6, Sr.) at shooting guard and power forward.
Ava Russell (5-8, Sr.) and Abigail McCracken (5-10, Sr.) are two players expected to make an impact in the paint this season. Emma Oaks (5-7, Sr.) will add her name to that list playing the 4-spot.
Other players to watch include Betsy Martinez (5-5, Jr.), Mayia Briscoe (5-7, Jr.), Avery Teel (5-6, So.), Haylee Bross (5-4, So.), Kimber Beebe (5-6, Fr.), Brynlee Gragg (5-3, Fr.), McKinley Anthony (5-7, Fr.), Kamber McGregor (5-5, Fr.), and Tenley Brady (5-7, Fr.).
