ANADARKO WARRIORS
GIRLS
Coach: Kirk Graham
23-24 Record: 21-7
The Lady Warriors were one win away from advancing to the Class 4A state tournament last season. They have some players back off that squad and they will be looking for other players to step up. Head coach Kirk Graham is expecting another really good season from his squad. “We have three returning starters from last year’s 21-7 team,” Graham said. “There are three girls who received a lot of minutes off the bench that will compete for starting positions on this year’s team. We have a lot of speed, quickness and length on our team. I anticipate a very competitive team that can make a deep run in the playoffs.” Lenaya Williams (5-6, Sr.), Heaven Haywood (5-10, Sr.), and Ivory Miller (5-11, Sr.) will each be looking to play a big role in the team’s success. They are all three outstanding players that bring a lot to the team. Another player that is expected to contribute this year is Carsyn Kaulaity (5-6, Sr.). She is a hard worker that is always ready to help the team be successful. Other members of the team that will work to help the team are Braelyn Hernandez (5-6, So.), True Kelley (5-8, So.), Ava Pebeahsy (5-6, So.), Amanda Pebeahsy (5-9, Jr.), Taejah Hightower (6-0, So.), Yuli Martinez (5-6, Fr.), Shaden Walker (5-10, So.), Jordyn Pahcoddy (5-6, Jr.), Abi Killsfirst (5-8, So.), and Heaven Owings (5-6, Fr.).
