Q&A with Mangum’s Remington Laughlin – Presented by McDonald’s of Altus

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Remington: I am a junior at Mangum High School. I am on the football, basketball, baseball, and track teams.

VYPE: What teacher that you have had has been your favorite?

Remington: Mr. Cross because he is always in a good mood and likes to talk about hunting and fishing.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Remington: My dad because no matter what happens he always is there for me and pushes me to do what’s right.

VYPE: Who is a college or professional athlete that you look up to?

Remington: Drew Bree’s because I’ve struggled with shoulder injuries, and he had to come back from a full shoulder replacement.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout to anyone you want.

Remington: I want to give a shoutout to all of my coaches for believing in me through all of my injuries.

VYPE: What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Remington: Going 9-1 in the regular season in football last year.

VYPE: What is the best advice you have been given?

Remington: No matter what happens trust the process and never give up.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Remington: Steak and shrimp

VYPE: If you could go anywhere on vacation right now, where would you go and who would you take with you?

Remington: The Bahamas and take my family.
