Hollis’ Lexi Brill – Parent Spotlight – Presented by Jackson County Memorial Hospital Women’s Health

For Lexi Brill, life revolves around family, community, and a constant rotation of practices, games, and events that keep her deeply connected to Hollis Public Schools. As a single mother of four student-athletes, her days are filled with movement, but also with purpose.

Her oldest, Wyatt, is a senior who competes in cross country and track while also playing baseball and basketball. Twins Mason and Cas, both sophomores, stay just as busy. Mason balances baseball with cross country and track, while Cas competes in softball along with cross country and track. Both are also active in Futre Farmers of America, showing animals and staying involved beyond athletics. The youngest, James, enters high school as a freshman, participating in cross country, basketball, and baseball while also contributing to band and FFA.

Brill’s professional role in donor relations at Westview Boys Home is only part of her story. Much of her time outside of work is spent supporting her children, whether that means attending games and meets, helping with animals, or staying active in church and youth group activities. Even her “free time” reflects her commitment to staying present in her kids’ lives and maintaining strong connections with family and friends.

Her involvement extends beyond the stands. As a member of Hollis All Sports and Band Buddies, Brill plays an active role in supporting school programs. She contributes by taking photos at games and helping with fundraising efforts, building relationships with coaches, athletes, and fellow parents along the way. That involvement not only strengthens the programs but also reinforces her connection to the community.

Balancing four busy schedules comes with challenges, especially the long days that begin early and end late. Still, Brill embraces those moments, knowing they are temporary. What stands out most to her is helping her children navigate the emotional side of competition, encouraging them to see their growth even when they are hard on themselves.

Through it all, Brill emphasizes the importance of relationships. While wins and losses come and go, she hopes her children carry forward the lessons of teamwork, friendship, and community. In a close-knit town like Hollis, those values are reinforced daily, creating a support system that feels more like family and ensures no one ever stands alone.
