For Klayton Seddon, earning Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman was more than just an award. It was the result of hard work, dedication, and long hours spent perfecting his game. “It was emotional because of all the hard work I put in,” Seddon said.
A sophomore at Hollis High School, Seddon is a standout in both football and baseball. He plays defensive lineman on the football field and catcher on the baseball field, showing his versatility.
“I have played both sports my whole life,” Seddon said. “Football is my favorite, but I perform better in baseball.”
Seddon’s dedication to both sports has already paid off. Being named Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman remains a defining moment in his young career.
The award reflects his commitment to constant improvement and consistent effort.
Seddon is focused on sharpening his skills on the baseball field. His determination and versatility have made him a key player for Hollis.
Off the field, Seddon’s life looks a little different. He embraces the cowboy lifestyle passed down through his family for generations. “I am always ranching, always in the saddle,” he said.
Ranching has taught Seddon the importance of hard work and discipline—qualities he carries with him in every game.
Seddon also credits much of his success to the support system around him.
His parents never miss a game, and their encouragement plays a big role in keeping him motivated. “I could not ask for anything better,” Seddon said.
Looking ahead, Seddon hopes to continue his athletic career at one of the nation’s top baseball programs. “I am looking to go as far as I can in college,” he said.
With his strong work ethic and competitive drive, Klayton Seddon is determined to keep excelling in both football and baseball throughout his high school years and beyond.
