As far as the sports they play, Lesley does cross-country, track, swim, and ballet, and Bailey and Kylie both are swimmers.

“Having my girls represent themselves well as well as their team in a positive light is important.”

Jenny’s dedication as a mom can be witnessed by the sheer number of sporting events she has attended for her daughters. Jenny stated, “I would estimate I have attended over 300 swim meets since we started. We have had summer rec league, club swim, high school and now college. I can probably count on one hand the number of meets I have missed (not counting college). Track and cross country meets probably add up to 150. And there have probably been to about 40 of Lesley‘s ballet recitals which I have attended.”

Jenny accounted, “I love watching my girls do what they love, and being successful. When they accomplish their goals, that is the sweetest victory. I also love being team mom to the rest of the kids involved in the sports that my kids are involved in and those kids coming to me with their accomplishments and successes.”

In terms of what it has taken for her daughters to become successful in sports, Jenny stated, “A lot a dedication and a passion for their sports. Plus, a lot of gas and a lot of physical therapy.”

As far as what motivates her, Jenny attested, “The smile on my girls faces when their hard work has paid off and they have accomplished their goals.”  Jenny went on to say, “I could not do any of this without my husband, Bernie.”

In regards to her daughters pursuing higher education, Jenny explained, “Lesley plans to attend college and study either something in the medical field or marine biology right now. Bailey is swimming collegiately and studying biology on the pre-med track. Kylie is swimming collegiately and studying biology with an emphasis in molecular ecology.”
