Altus’ Bella Harford – Soccer Spotlight – Presented by Chad Lee, State Farm Agent

VYPE: What grades are you in and what sports do you play?

Bella: I am a senior at Altus High School and I am on the soccer team.

VYPE: What is at the top of your bucket list?
Bella: Traveling to Greece or Italy. They’ve both been dream destinations of mine for a long time.

VYPE: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Bella: Teleportation so I could visit anywhere in the world instantly.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Bella: Ms. Huckaby from 11th-grade English. She always made class fun and engaging, and she pushed me to become a better writer and thinker.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Bella: My underclassmen inspire me to keep going and remind me why I love the game. Seeing their energy and passion makes me want to be a better leader and role model for them.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Bella: The younger kids on the team have made the biggest impression on me. They look up to us older players, and that motivates me to keep working hard and set a good example for them.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Bella: Soccer has taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to stay mentally strong. It’s helped me grow into a more confident and determined person on and off the field.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?
Bella: Yes, I’m a member of the National Honor Society, a concurrent student, and an intern through the high school with Valir Physical Therapy.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Bella: Thank you to my family, friends, and my adopted children on my soccer team for always supporting me.
