Quarterback
Remington Laughlin – Mangum
Coming back from a torn labrum, Remington has added 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason. He has a strong arm but can also be a threat on the ground as well if necessary.
Running Back
Johnny Fernandez – Tipton
Johnny makes up for his lack of size with a massive amount of heart. In Tipton’s two toughest games last year, he rushed for close to 400 yards, had over 20 tackles and made a number of big plays. He is super tough, very gritty, and very hard to tackle. He is very agile, and has tremendous balance.
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Avery Rogers – Mangum
Avery was a breakout star last year helping in the run and pass game with his impressive speed and great vision. He has been waiting for his chance to shine and is now taking advantage of that opportunity. The toughness and perseverance along with hard work helped get him where he is today.
Offensive Lineman
Ajay Hughes – Altus
Hughes is a great person first but also a great player. He has great strength and moves very well for his size.
Defensive Lineman
Shooter Mayabb – Hobart
Mayabb ended last season with 29 tackles, five of them were tackles for loss. He looks to increase those numbers this season.
Linebacker
Trey Williams – Mangum
Trey is an outstanding linebacker who had 114 tackles and six tackles for loss last year. Now in his junior year, Williams looks to continue to make a big impact on the defensive side of the ball.
Defensive Back
Trent Carman – Altus
In the secondary, Trent keeps his eye open and ready for whatever the offense throws his way.
