y Froelich, a senior at Altus High School is involved in STUCO, and Link Crew. Karley took the time to answer a few questions about herself and her favorite sport, cheerleading.
Q: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
A: Cheerleading has taught me to be more confident and to be a better leader.
Q: Why are you passionate about your sport?
A: I’m passionate about my sport because it allows me to not only support other teams on the sidelines, but also allows me to compete and show off my competitive side.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
A: My favorite teacher is coach Garrison because he takes the time to connect with his students and he makes his class really fun.
Q: Who inspires you and why?
A: My mom inspires me because she is the strongest woman I know.
Q: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
A: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Madelyn Fallon because she always had a positive mindset.
Q: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
A: I first got into my sport in fourth grade when I made my elementary cheer squad and I have stuck with it ever since.
Q: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
A: My favorite part is being able to make my community proud.
Q: What has been your favorite memory and/or accomplishment of playing?
A: Winning Gameday state my freshmen year.
Q: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
A: The best advice I have ever gotten is to not let today affect tomorrow and to always stay positive.
