Snyder Cyclones volleyball is aiming to build on last year’s 11-14 campaign with a roster that brings back significant experience and welcomes impactful additions. Head coach Justin Janz, in his fourth year at the school, believes the pieces are in place for the Cyclones to take a noticeable step forward. With good size up front and players who can contribute across the floor, Snyder expects to be more dangerous at the net and more versatile in its lineups.
One of the key returners is Rebecca DiMario, who was playing at a high level last year before injuries interrupted her season. Her ability to play all over the floor and handle any position makes her a valuable asset as the Cyclones shape their rotations. When healthy, Rebecca has the skill set to be one of the better small-school players in the area, giving Snyder a go-to presence who can influence matches in multiple ways.
Another player who took important strides last season is Madison Hebensperger. She brings great length and leaping ability, attributes that make her a natural threat at the net. As her confidence grows, the staff envisions Madison evolving into one of the team’s better players by year’s end, capable of blocking, attacking and changing the energy of a match.
Kaylee Vester adds further versatility to the Cyclones’ lineup. She has a knack for the game and, like Rebecca, can play nearly anywhere on the floor. That flexibility allows Snyder to adjust to different opponents and situations while keeping skilled athletes on the court. Off the floor, the presence of Grace Crosswhite helps anchor the program’s culture. Known as an exceptional student with strong character, Grace consistently does the right thing and provides leadership that teammates can rely on. Her example supports the program’s emphasis on accountability and team-first values.
With returning talent, new additions and multiple players capable of excelling in different roles, Snyder Cyclones volleyball is optimistic about elevating its performance. If the group stays healthy and continues to grow in confidence, the Cyclones could emerge as one of the more formidable small-school teams in the area.
