MANGUM TIGERS

Coach: SAM POWERS

9-2

OFFENSE
With a 9-2 season behind them, the Mangum Tigers are primed to take another step forward in 2025 behind a young but experienced offensive core. Returning talent across the board gives Coach Sam Powers confidence that this unit can produce at an even higher level. The quarterback position is a major strength. Beau Rogers (6-1, 175, So.) returns after a strong sophomore season, during which he passed for 1,277 yards and 12 touchdowns. He’s supported by Remington Laughlin (6-4, 200, Jr.)—an incredibly versatile athlete who started at quarterback before shifting to tight end due to injury. Laughlin totaled over 1,000 all-purpose yards and brings leadership and toughness to the field. Running back Krae Manney (6-1, 190, Sr.) averaged over 13 yards per carry last year and looks to have a breakout season behind a dominant offensive line. Anchoring that line are Jackson Brooks (6-2, 250, Sr.) and Aiden Augustine (6-3, 295, So.)—two of the most physical linemen in the district. Combined, they allowed just one sack all season while posting a staggering 83 knockdowns and 46 pancake blocks. Wide receiver Zeke Rogers (6-3, 165, So.) adds a dynamic vertical threat after hauling in 423 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman. His athleticism and big-play ability make him a constant mismatch.

DEFENSE
Defensively, Mangum may be even more dangerous. The Tigers are built around a relentless front seven and opportunistic secondary. Trey Williams (5-11, 255, Sr.) is a game-wrecker on the defensive line. Entering his fourth year as a starter, Williams has already racked up 258 tackles and 58 tackles for loss in his career. Linebacker Cooper Kerbo (5-9, 175, So.) returns after one of the most productive freshman seasons in the state, tallying 133 tackles and 16 tackles for loss. Manney also contributes heavily on defense with 45 tackles and 5 sacks, forming a disruptive linebacker duo alongside Kerbo. Up front, Shane Lee (5-11, 230, Jr.) adds power with 5 sacks and 43 tackles. In the secondary, Diego Telles (5-9, 150, Jr.) and Max Richardson (5-10, 180, So.) provide stability and ball-hawking skills, combining for six turnovers last year. With depth, experience, and star power at every level, Mangum is positioned to be a serious contender in 2025.
